Super Bowl LIVE with Evolon Edge
The City of Houston has turned to video surveillance solutions provider Evolon to embed its Edge™ Analytics software in the city’s Camera Surveillance Systems to ensure the public’s safety at Super Bowl LIVE.
Evolon’s Edge™ Video Content Analysis (VCA) software was successfully used for the detection of people and vehicles in off-limit areas surrounding the Toyota Center, which hosted the heavily promoted and highly attended Super Bowl Live. The software was implemented on the City of Houston’s Axis IP Video Cameras.
Due to the successful deployment of Evolon Edge™ software for Super Bowl LIVE, the City of Houston has turned to Evolon to keep its citizens safe while enjoying Discovery Green Park, a beautiful 12-acre urban park. Discovery Green Park hosts an array of events, including festivals, fairs, and concerts, and maintains a tranquil lake, beautiful walking trails, and quaint cafés for residents to enjoy year around. Without limited lighting, however, it had become a haven for criminal activity after sundown. Now, Evolon will be providing enhanced security to keep the city’s citizens safe while enjoying Discovery Green Park.
