Evolon is looking for a highly analytical thinker with an audience-first mindset for the role of Content Marketing Specialist. Candidates will be experts on marketing content creation, copy-writing, and social media, with an understanding of the nuances, advantages, and shortcomings of a variety of marketing communications platforms. Candidates should be data-driven individuals and know how to utilize data to formulate campaign strategies. The Content Marketing Strategist will require excellent interpersonal and communicative skills, as well as sound decision making capabilities.

Reporting Relationship:

The Content Marketing Specialist will report to the company's Marketing Manager.


No direct staff oversight.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Produce high-quality articles, white papers, blogs, email marketing messages, case studies, presentation content, and web copy.
  • Orchestrate digital content strategies across all online/social platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube).
  • Drive traffic and engagement that translates to sales funnel growth and brand promotion.
  • Serve as an exemplary writer, consistent with Evolon's tone and mission. You write clean, concise, well-polished copy.
  • Continuously measure and improve content performance to inform future marketing campaigns.
  • Build and maintain an editorial calendar and stay up to date with industry trends and customer challenges in order to optimize the editorial calendar.
  • Work closely with senior leadership, sales & marketing team, engineering, and support to create content that effectively articulates Evolon's core benefits and value proposition.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including assistance with technical writing and the publication of user documentation.

Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, graphic design, or related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of content marketing or direct copywriting experience.
  • Experience using HubSpot or similar marketing automation platform required.
  • Experience using the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, etc.) highly desired.
  • Clear effective communicator with an excellent grasp of grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
  • Strong analytical mindset and an ability to manage multiple projects and juggle responsibilities.
  • Ability to develop, organize, and maintain process documentation and user documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of content marketing strategy and channels.
  • CMI certification and/or completed coursework is a huge plus.
  • Experience in the Physical Security industry is a huge plus.
